 2021 Teachers’ Day: Ayorinde Salutes Teachers in Abeokuta North LG

Abeokuta North Local Government Chairman, Hon. Adebayo Ayorinde has commended Teachers in the local government for their sacrifices, commitment and dedication to nation building, as they join their counterparts to celebrate World Teachers’ Day 2021 on Tuesday.

In a statement by his Media Office in Akomoje, Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital, the Council Boss described Teachers as the bedrock of the development of any nation, state or local government.

He applauded teachers in the local government for being progressive partners in the drive to reposition education in the gateway state.

Hon. Ayorinde assured the Teachers that his administration will remain committed to improving their welfare and also facilitate facelift to some of the existing educational infrastructures across the local government.

“It gives me great joy to identify with teachers in Ogun state and particularly in Abeokuta North local government as they join their counterparts, the world over, to mark World Teachers’ Day 2021.

“We cannot thank our teachers enough for the passion they bring to the job and for their efforts in shaping lives, building character and preparing our Children for a brighter and rewarding future.

“We remain fully committed to providing conducive teaching and learning atmosphere for our teachers and children”

“I therefore urge our teachers not to relent in working towards repositioning education in Ogun state as we are known for our excellence in all spheres, education especially.” he submitted.
